Holy Crap

It's been 10 days since my last post!

My entire life has been turned upside down with the new house and there's stuff EVERYWHERE. For serious. For the first three days that I had to get dressed for work at the new house I had to find my underwear in the formal living room, my pants in the bedroom, shirts in the dining room, shoes in the kitchen... it was rough.

Things are coming together and there will be pictures soon!

But right now I need some help. I found some FABULOUS fabric for office chairs and want to find a cheapo version of this...

But what would you call this style of chair? I'm searching Craigs List and Ebay and plan on hitting some estate sales. Any other thoughts on where to find it?

Hmm, like a parlor chair? My parents had something like this with arms and we just always called in the "needlepoint chairs" but I think that's cuz of the style of the cushion.

Very pretty!!!

Hey girl! We're kinda in the same boat except I can't do anything myself..my husband is not a handyman so I'm waiting until my Dad can make it over here to help us redo some things. We did get a lot of painting done though...So I've been looking up a lot of old furniture things too...try searching for VANITY CHAIRS.

I've seen similar styles in antique stores. If you're willing to make a trek, Old Towne Orange has loads of antique malls- some affordable and some not. Also, maybe try Pasadena flea market?

I believe the chair is an armless Louis XV Chair.
