Decor: Desk

I could potentially open an ick furniture store in my garage.

I had a vision for the desk I wanted in my office. BIG. Wood. Black. Interesting legs.

Found her on Craig's List for $80! Its previous home is just around the corner from the house and the seller even dropped it off for us!

It's the heaviest, most ridiculously solid table. I'm going to refinish it with a black stain and put it in the center of the room. My computer will go on the left side and on the other end, Chris' computer will go on the opposite corner. Then we can stare at each other :-)

Ah! I love all your ideas and finds! It looks like we're both in the process of getting things going for our new places! I've been trying to find office furniture and it's all been either ick or expensive. You're giving me courage to try some DIY-ness. I've been itching to redo/build/paint something forEVER.

I love all your awesome finds. I'm glad you have a garage or some space to store all these items while they're in transition. Your perseverance seems to be paying off.

Check out Apartment Therapy LA and Curbed L.A. to see some great furniture restore/redo jobs. I think you'll find great tips and inspiration there.

You should most definitely go to the Rose Bowl Flea Market this Sunday in Pasadena. Tons of potential swimming around there.

I love watching you fix up the place. I am also a newlywed, and fixing up a house in Burbank.
